She went head first down the big kids tube slide 8 times!!
Each time she climbed up to the slide faster & screamed and smiled bigger!
She is amazing for a 15 month old! Last night I forgot to mention that she also says:
Thank you, tickle-tickle-tickle, keeeee {kitty} cat, duck
very often. Today we noticed that at stoplights she
kept pointing and saying "ball" and finally we realized
she meant the circular light itself. What a smarty pants!
Last night Dad woke us up at 1 AM because he was ready to come to bed. This infuriated me because I could not get back to sleep. Ms. Baby woke up wired for sound and ran back and forth chasing and being chased and squeeling in delight for 2 and a half hours!!!!! So today dad & I were very grouchy. We took Ms. Superbaby to Thousand Oak totlot and she played in the mud and water at the creek. Dad kicked a soccer ball & I tried to wake up with some Peet's coffee, while on hold to ATT wireless about a billing error. It was HOT at 10AM. It was in the 80's so we headed for shade at the Hobitot Museum downtown. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded and she had fun. I got her a spinning muscial top that lights up & plays "It' s a small world" and an orange harmonica that dad knows how to play. Then we looked in the Hall of Health next door. It was fantastic. Very educational about baby making and what drug abuse and diseases do to us.
Then this evening we went to Montclair Park & Ms. Baby played at the totlot & dived head first down the tot slide (there was a 15-month old girl who couldn't walk yet and did a crab crawl-her parents didn't think it was a physical problem) and checked out the ducks in the pond and swung on the baby swings. Then dad showed up with pizza & she had some and a duck had some, then we all went to the big kids park and Ms. Baby started going down that tube slide. She is remarkable!
